Product Description

The Suror is a Filipino blade from the Northern Philippines.  Though the suror design was originally a multi-task blade it is made here as a fighting blade.  This blade shape resembles the talibong and sansibar blade types from the Central Philippines.

The lightweight mahogany scabbard features a metal belt clip for mounting.  The clip has a friction based retention feature to prevent the blade from slipping out.  The brass handguard protects the fingers from being slashed.

Length in Scabbard: 31 inches
Overall Length: 27.75 inches
Blade Length: 21.25  inches
Handle Length: 6.38 inches
Blade Width: 1.31 inches (at widest point)
Blade Thickness: Tapers from .19 inch
Handle Material: Kamagong
Blade Material: 5160 Blended Steel
Weight:  1 pound 11 ounces
Weight in Scabbard:  2 pounds 9 ounces

Note: Each blade is handmade in the Philippines and therefore may have slight variations in sizes as well as small imperfections in the finishing or construction dimensions. Variations and slightly irregular lines are common among all handmade blades in the Philippines. We believe that these imperfections do not affect performance.

Blade Use: Although we make our blades durable and strong, we do not recommend you test cut hard materials. Our long blades can cut light brush, but they are not designed to chop wood or cut thick branches.
