Sharkee training knives have become popular because they are durable and rigid enough for disarming practice. Made of injection molded plastic, Sharkee knives are designed with blunt edges that are also rounded to reduce accidents and protect mats from puncture.

Not the most realistic training knife available, but the quality is nothing short of amazing. I've had one for several years now and used it for partner drill, sparring, and solo training. I love it. I don't have to worry about hurting myself accidentaly or my partner and the high quality of the plastic makes these knives very durable.
No sharp edges

This trainer doesn't look as much like a real knife as some others, but the benefits of its design make it more valuable for practice. There are no sharp edges that you can accidentally gouge your training partner or yourself with. Other rubber knives can get you with the hilt, which gets annoying after the 20th time when doing a drill. Plus it is firm enough to be realistic for disarm practice. If you do your technique right your opponent is disarmed instead of the knife folding in half.
