Product Description
The Sanzibar Matulis is a blade from the Philippines that resembles the Espada Ancas of Spain. The straight blade makes it good for thrusting.
The lightweight mahogany scabbard features a metal belt clip for mounting. The clip has a friction based retention feature to prevent the blade from slipping out. The aluminum handguard protects the fingers from being slashed.

Note: Each blade is handmade in the Philippines and therefore may have slight variations in sizes as well as small imperfections in the finishing or construction dimensions. Variations and slightly irregular lines are common among all handmade blades in the Philippines. We believe that these imperfections do not affect performance.
Blade Use: Although we make our blades durable and strong, we do not recommend you test cut hard materials. Our long blades can cut light brush, but they are not designed to chop wood or cut thick branches.
