Called a pasak because it is a combination of grips pakal and saksak, this unique palmstick is both an excellent self-defense weapon and a collector's item. The pasak is carved from the horn tips of the Philippine Carabao (water buffalo).
Length: approximately 6.5 - 8 inches
Note: because the pasak is handmade from natural materials the dimensions and color may differ slightly from the image shown.

PASAK BUFFALO PALM STICK

I recently bought a DVD from FMA Academy on the palm stick. I'm very interested in learning how to use an object (ie..highlighter, cell phone) to defend myself. In the DVD a water buffalo horn is presented as an early version of the palm stick. I was very happy to find that kaligear carried them and ordered a few of them. I'm very happy with my purchase.

If your thinking about getting one of these... Do it!
Great for the pocket or collection. Good finish, Fits the hand well but left thick enough to retain its strength. If you can't or don't want to carry a pistol or large knife this is the next best thing. Just looks mean! And will be incredibly effective in good hands.

Authentic palm weapon that would be very effective in a combat situation. Very nicely crafted. Fits comfortably in my hand.
Simple and deadly!

What a nice piece to have as part of the filipino heritage growing up with water buffalo as part of daily living . Its a beautiful piece of the horn to have and use just in case for personal protection.
Its light weight and not a normal weapon seen in America. I love it.
Very Very nice palm stick!

Got this palm stick and another one which I'll do a separate review for. This thing is absolutely gorgeous and if ever needed will get the job done quick! You cannot even tell your holding it because it doesn't weigh anything and it fits into your hand so well. The durability is also very nice! If you know anything about how Kali empty hands and limb destruction work then you will enjoy adding this to your arsenal. Even simply applying a constant hammer fist on a person with this thing would be enough to put them out quick.
a wicked good palm stick

If you want to get down to the roots of Filipino fighting, you want to add this piece to your collection. It has a very natural 'hand feel' and is a wicked good palm stick.
