Originally designed for dueling by the late Grand Tuhon Conrado Tortal of the Pekiti Tirsia Kali System, this weapon case is ideal for organizing and carrying your Filipino Kali, Arnis, Escrima and other martial arts training gear.
The Master's Dueling Case is designed for carrying all that is needed to teach, demonstrate or train. Be prepared for your next class, seminar, private lesson or any time you may need your gear.
Made of durable black cordura, this case unrolls to reveal multiple internal pockets. These individual pockets allow for various weapons and gear to be stored and protected from wear and tear. Included are: 2 pockets for long blades, 2 large pockets for sticks, 3 pockets for knives and 2 pockets for your notebook, palm sticks, balisong or other small items. Each has a durable velcro enclosure to ensure a tight close.
The Master's Dueling Case exterior features adjustable binding straps to hold it secure. When you finish training, simply roll up the case and secure it with the straps and quick open buckles. Carry it all with the wide adjustable shoulder strap, which includes a hanger loop, 2 D-rings and several webbing loops for attachments, keys and carabiners.
Long ago, Grandmaster Conrado would seek other Kali masters to challenge. Upon finding them, he would unroll his carrying case to reveal sticks, swords, knives and .45 caliber handguns. The two would then choose their weapons and duel to perfect the art. If at any time Conrado was attacked while carrying his weapons case, he could pull a strap to quickly unroll the case, still hanging from his shoulder, and access his weapons while shielding his body from assault.
The grandson of Conrado Tortal, Tuhon Leo Tortal Gaje modernized the design of the dueling case to what you see today. However, you don't have to duel anyone to use this case; it is portable and convenient for everyday use or storage. Whether you need to have a professional look or just a way to port your gear, this case is what you need.

It's ok, not the most durable.

Held up to light use over 2 years now but the stitching is failing especially the shoulder strap where it is close to falling off.

Looking in my hands looked even better.

Nice product. Seems sturdy enough and works as advertised. I do think the price is a little steep for what it is.
You could run a small school off this bag. Excellent Layout.

I've had this bag for about 2 years. It has held up well. I added patches and Velcro to the pocket flaps. The bottom pocket holds a medical kit and is marked with a red cross. The next pocket holds a sarong. The first knife pocket holds a set of 3 throwing knives and an aluminum training knife. The next holds two Sharkees and the other aluminum training knife. The last knife pocket holds two Sharkees. The first stick pocket holds a 1.25" stick, a 1.25" padded stick and a 1.5" body conditioning stick bundle. The next pocket hold 4 rattan sticks. The two individual stick pockets hold one Kamagong stick each. Its a quick easily mobile way to take a bunch of stuff to train with. One bag could allow five to practice double stick and 9 single dagger. Wow. and after 2 years no damage or wear. I just ordered the Battle Ready Bag to add "gym" gear for an all in one bag but I'm going to keep this one too.

After searching for about a year for a bag such as this, I am more than impressed with it's construction, it's features, and also the service from Les Buck. I will be ordering from Kali Gear again. Thank you very much.
Finally a bag that holds what I need

Major plus for this bag was the storage capacity. It also looks sturdy enough to last a while. In four years of bags lasting 2 weeks to 6 months this is the first that holds what I need and has at lasted beyond the two weeks of my last one. Looks like I may have found my solution. Thanks
Awesome Gear Bag

Carrying an Armory

I got this bag just after my teacher encouraged me to teach some new students. It has multiple pockets of varied sizes to accommodate all kinds of gear. Mostly, I was pleased by its capacity to carry larger sticks (29-30 in), a problem I have run into with other bags. I've had it for a week and it beats the hell out of the pool-cue bag I've been using for years.
Classroom in a bag.

I just recently started a kali class in my community. I got this bag as a way to carry a decent amount of equipment to class and it did not disappoint. I had 10 sticks, 2 machetes, 3 knives and a notebook in the bag and still had room to spare. Going to heavily recommend the fighter bag to my students.
Great equipment bag!

I am very pleased with the Masters Dueling Case equipment bag. It has enough pouches & pockets to allow for plenty of rattan sticks, training blades, training knives, eye protection, and anything else you might want to bring for a training session. The stitching and bag construction are heavy-duty for everyday use and the padded sling allows for easy carrying & is contoured to balance the bag properly on your shoulder. It even has web belt slots to attach items on the sling. A great buy & I have been very happy with it!
