One of our new Indonesian karambits made by the former blacksmith of Guru Besar Herman Suwanda of Pencak Silat Mande Muda. Wood combinations vary from karambit to karambit. Although the shape will be the same, the scabbard and handle may be made of different woods than shown in the pictures.
Though very similar, there are two models: Model A and Model B. Model A has file marks on the back of the blade, but Model B does not. There are also slight variations in the scabbards. See the model letters that label each of the large images to compare.

Note: Each karambit is handmade in Indonesia and therefore may have slight variations in sizes as well as small imperfections in the finishing or construction dimensions. Variations and slightly irregular lines are common among all handmade blades. We believe that these imperfections do not affect performance. Because the karambit is made with a high carbon steel, it can be sharpened very well, but it will rust quickly. We recommend keeping your karambit oiled or waxed.
